MOBILE LIBRARY

MOBILE LIBRARY OVERVIEW

The Cipriani College of Labour and Co-operative Studies (CCLCS) Mobile Library Unit (MLU) was launched on April 8th 2013. The main goal of the MLU is to deliver library services to patrons at the College’s South Education Centre i.e. Metal Industries Company (MIC).

Owing to the absence of a physical library at MIC, a need has been recognized to bring quality customer service by well-trained library staff right at the “doorstep” of our South patrons.

The mobile library is the perfect complement to the mission statement of the main library “Elma Francois Library” because the MLU is conducive to the physical environment that encourages lifelong learning at the South Education Centre. The MLU also supports the overall mission of the college and will continue to promote a love for reading, studying and enjoying the library experience.
