We were honoured to welcome the new Director of the International Labour Organisation- Office for the Caribbean, Dr. Joni Musabayana, and his team to the Cipriani College today. The College has a long history with the ILO, including the indispensable work that the organisation played in establishing Cipriani, providing its first Director and developing our very first Labour Studies curriculum.
The Cipriani team, led by Director, Dr. André Vincent Henry and including Deputy Director for Academic Affairs, Mr. Sheldon Salino and Member of the Board, Mr. Michael Annisette, held very meaningful discussions which covered items including social justice, occupational safety and health, building the social and solidarity economy in the Caribbean, co-operative development, gender-based violence, open learning, and lifelong learning.
The College is deeply appreciative of the openness of Dr. Musabayana and his team and looks forward to building on our enduring history of partnership.
