Amrita Deo is a postgraduate researcher attached to the Trade and Economic Development Unit, UWI. Her present research areas include; transition probability matrices and understanding the growth behaviour of small states, labour mobility and economic integration in small states, trade dynamics and revealed comparative advantage of small relative to large states. Papers under review; ‘Lewis and Best and Trinidad and Tobago Economic Development’ and ‘Measuring the Relationship between the Murder Level and Economic activity in a Small Island State: The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago 1966-2022.’
