CCLCS: Celebrating 60 Years: Francois-Walcott Social Justice 5K

Cipriani College of Labour and Co-operative Studies (CCLCS) was proud to host The Francois-Walcott Social Justice 5K, a dynamic community event celebrating activism, solidarity, and the ongoing fight for social justice. The initiative went beyond a typical race—it created a platform where awareness, engagement, and community spirit came together to drive meaningful change.

The event took place in Trinidad on 21st February and in Tobago on 28th February, bringing together participants of all ages and abilities to support social justice causes. Through this run, the College encouraged individuals and organizations to unite, promote healthy lifestyles, and stand in solidarity with issues that impact communities across the region.

By fostering participation, raising awareness, and creating a shared experience around social justice, the Francois-Walcott Social Justice 5K strengthened community engagement and promoted a culture of activism and civic responsibility. Together, CCLCS and participants redefined what it means to take action for equality, fairness, and positive societal change.
