Shawn M. Barrow – HSE Unit Lead, National Institute of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology (NIHERST)

Shawn M. Barrow Leads the HSE Unit at NIHERST, responsible for Health, Safety and Environmental issues facing both the Administrative and Business operations of the Institute. He directs programs involving Risk Management Environmental Waste management, Emergency management Transportation Safety and Safety training.
Mr. Barrow has over 17 years experience across industries like Education, Construction, Energy, Transport and logistics. He began his career as a firefighter with the Trinidad and Tobago Fire Service for 9 years, he is a Proboard certified fire instructor. Shawn holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment from the University of Greenwich.
