Crystal Roberts

Presentation Title: Just Transitions: Gender Implications

Crystal Roberts is the founder and President of the Crystal-Clear Initiative of Trinidad and Tobago and also a member and advocate for the CEDAW Committee of Trinidad and Tobago. The Crystal-Clear Initiative is a non-governmental organization dedicated towards advocating for climate action, raising awareness on the intersectionality between climate change and gender inequalities and educating all stakeholders on climate justice and its implications to sustainable development and an empowered life.

Crystal is a member of the CEDAW Committee of Trinidad and Tobago where she advocates for gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls.Crystal holds a Masters in Natural Disaster Risk Management and Climate Change. She also holds both a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Government.
