CCLCS: Fostering Engagement, Driving Change in Labour

Cipriani College of Labour and Co-operative Studies (CCLCS), in collaboration with the Communication Workers’ Union (CWU), hosted a Labour Outreach Workshop aimed at promoting awareness, engagement, and advocacy within the workforce. This initiative went beyond traditional discussions—it created a platform where knowledge, experience, and dialogue converged to address current labour issues and strengthen workplace representation.

The workshop brought together union members, employees, and professionals to explore best practices, share insights, and develop strategies for improving labour relations. Through interactive sessions and expert-led discussions, participants gained practical knowledge on workers’ rights, negotiation skills, and advocacy techniques, empowering them to actively contribute to healthier and more equitable workplaces.

By fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and practical skill-building, the CCLCS and CWU Labour Outreach Workshop strengthened engagement within the labour community and promoted a culture of informed participation. Together, CCLCS and the CWU demonstrated the value of education and dialogue in advancing worker empowerment, social justice, and fair labour practices.
