Professor Roger Hosein

Professor Roger Hosein is a graduate of the UWI first class honours who went on to obtain his Ph.D. in Economics from Cambridge University in 2000. He joined the Economics Department, UWI, later that year and currently holds the position of Senior Lecturer.

His research interests focuses on International Trade with emphasis on small states and their economic vulnerability, regional integration in the context of partial equilibrium modelling, immigrant labour in the Caribbean and the Dutch Disease.
He has written 10 books either directly or with other researchers and has published over 80 papers in both regional and international journals.
