Occupational Safety Health and Environment is a highly respected interdisciplinary degree that is designed to provide the scientific foundation for today’s Safety and Health professionals and all other professionals, who practice and deal with human behaviour and performance in a healthy environment. - Individuals with relevant work experience may provide a job letter detailing their years of service and duties performed.
- For those without CXC qualifications or work experience, completion of Introductory classes is available, which will facilitate entry into the certificate programs.

- For students with qualifications more than five years old, a resume listing positions held and key responsibilities will be also required.

Mr. Barry Parasram serves as the Programme Dean for Occupational Safety, Health, and the Environment at Cipriani College. He holds an impressive academic background, including a Master of Science in Occupational and Environmental Safety and Health, as well as a Master of Business Administration specializing in Human Resources. Additionally, Mr. Parasram earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational and Environmental Safety and Health, further solidifying his expertise in the field.
In addition to his degrees, Mr. Parasram is a certified International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 45001 Lead Auditor, showcasing his commitment to maintaining high standards in occupational health and safety practices. His professional affiliations include membership with the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), where he contributes to advancing the mission of promoting safer working environments.
Currently, Mr. Parasram is involved in several noteworthy projects, including the CCLCS and Natco Health, Safety, and Environment Workshop, as well as the CCLCS HSSE Conference scheduled for 2024. Additionally, he is actively engaged in IOSH student initiatives to foster future leadership in safety and health sectors. He is also pursuing a doctorate at West Virginia University, further enhancing his knowledge and leadership in occupational safety and health.
