Introduction to Crisis and Emergency Management

This course introduces the students to theories and practices of emergency management that are currently in use to manage natural, man-made, and technological disasters and emergencies that may affect communities. The course will introduce students to disaster preparedness, and the importance of saving lives and minimizing the loss of property. The students will also be introduced to the roles and functions of the Regional Corporations and the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Management.
