Dr. Timothy Affonso is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Law at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus. He is also an attorney-at-law with over 17 years’ experience. He is a Director of the Caribbean Centre for Human Rights. He holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree; a Legal Education Certificate; a Masters of Law Degree, with Distinction, in Public Law and Human Rights from the University College London and a Doctor of Philosophy in Public International Law and International Human Rights Law from the UWI, Cave Hill Campus. He also has a Post-Graduate Certificate, with Distinction in University Teaching.
