Chester A.A. Humphrey

Immediate past President of the Senate of Grenada and Former General Secretary, Caribbean Congress of Labour

Chester Arlington Arthur Humphrey is an activist and trade unionist with over three decades of experience. He has held the position of President General at the Grenada Technical & Allied Workers Union (GTAWU) for 26 consecutive years. In addition, he served as the General Secretary of the Caribbean Congress of Labour, having been elected unopposed for two consecutive terms and was chairman for the LIAT Group of Trade Unions.
Mr Humphrey is also immediate past President of the House of Senate of the Parliament of Grenada elected by the Senate unopposed in December 2014.and was its Deputy President in the Parliament of Grenada for the period 2008 to 2013.
