Dr. Saadiqa Khan joined CCLCS in 2008 as a full-time lecturer with the General Education Department, teaching courses in writing, communication and critical thinking. At present, she serves as the Programme Dean for the department, now renamed the Interdisciplinary Studies Department and co-ordinates the College’s Developmental Education Unit. She also serves as a trainer with the College’s Specialized Training Unit, assisting clients in attaining business writing skills, policy writing skills, communication and critical thinking skills for the world of work.

 

She is also responsible for the College’s approach to lifelong learning. Her recent credentials include training with the ITC ILO in evidence-based research policy writing for decent work  as well as gender equality, responsible business conduct and human rights diligence. In addition, she has also received certification in Change Management from eCornell while being an affiliate member of the Change Management Institute. She co-leads the College’s Change Management Team and also heads the newly created research group within EFIR, The Clotil Walcott Gender Hub.
