Amrita is a research economist attached to the TEDU, UWI. Her present research areas include: Dutch Disease and CSR interventions: examining the labour market in T&T; Small States and Trade Vulnerability: Constructing a Trade Vulnerability Index; Trade dynamics and revealed comparative advantage of small relative to large states; and Renewable energy: wind energy development in T&T-assessing the labour market, a medium-term outlook. Papers under review; ‘Lewis and Best and T&T Economic Development’ and ‘Measuring the Relationship between the Murder Level and Economic activity in a Small Island State: T&T 1966-2022.’ Amrita is presently pursuing an MPhil in Economics, UWI.
