Welcome to the Cipriani College of Labour and Co- operative Studies, an institution that is nationally recognised for its innovative and exceptional learning experience.
The College was founded in 1966 with a single goal: To provide workers of Trinidad and Tobago with education and training. Over four decades later, the scope of the college’s academic programmes has expanded but our core mission remains unchanged.
Our commitment to our mission has been very clear: we want to ensure that you graduate adequately prepared for immediate employment, transition into a new career or succeed in any one of your chosen career endeavours. What distinguishes us is our dedication to providing you with a devoted and professional staff who deliver educative and other services in a personal and supportive manner.
I assure you that you have made a very wise career choice by enrolling in one of our many academic programmes. The college is noted for offering a diverse range of strong degree programmes, and a set of affordable and customised educational and training choices that is available nowhere else. Our longstanding tradition of innovation and excellence is attributable largely to the fact that our faculty is capable of delivering both theoretical and applied practical instruction that go beyond abstractions. This has contributed immeasurably to cultivating an atmosphere of pedagogy and learning conducive to developing the framework for educational continuity and service.
As technology and the educational needs of our community and the economy evolve, we have constantly sought ways to improve those areas of our infrastructure that may be in need. To this end, we have embarked on major building and infrastructural improvements meant to accommodate more classrooms, labs, libraries and other learning and support facilities. Amongst them is the expansion of the East Wing of the Valsayn Campus and the new multi-story facility that will soon house the Tobago Campus of Cipriani College.
We are also continuing to make great strides in modernising our curriculum and programme offerings in ways that will benefit students in all our academic programmes and fields of study. We have extended our educational reach regionally and globally through partnerships with regional and international bodies as well as on-site and distance learning services.
