Board Composition
The Board of Governors is comprised of nine members:
- Four persons from the organization most representative of Labour
- The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Labour or his representative
- The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Science, Technology and Tertiary Education or his representative
- The Commissioner of Co-operative Development or his representative
- Two members from the general public
Term of Office
The Board’s term of office is for a period of three years.

Mr Hinds is the President General of the Contractors and General Workers Union and a Vice President of the National Trade Union Council (NATUC).

Mr Annisette is the President General of the Seamen and Waterfront Workers Trade Union and a Vice President of the National Trade Union Council (NATUC).
- Mr Rudranath Indarsingh – Member
Mr Indarsingh is the President General of the All Trinidad Sugar and General Workers Trade Union and a Vice President of the National Trade Union Council (NATUC).
- Mr Trevor Johnson – Member
Mr Johnson is the General Secretary of the Banking, Insurance and General Workers Trade Union. He is also a National Trade Union Council (NATUC) representative.
- Ms Michele Rouff – Member
Ms Rouff is the Training Officer of Co-operative Division of the Ministry of Labour and Small and Micro Enterprise Development
- Mr Gregory Jones – Member
Mr Jones represents the Education Sector and is the Acting Senior Economist in the Ministry of Science, Technology and Tertiary Education
The Director, Dr. Ian Sakura – Lemessey, is an ex-officio member of the Board; and the Executive Assistant to the Director, Ms Petal-Dawn Hinkson serves as Secretary to the Board.
