Under the umbrella of Student Affairs is the Developmental Education Programme, which promotes the cognitive and affective growth of all post-secondary learners, at all levels of the learning continuum. It is sensitive and responsive to individual differences and special needs among learners.
Developmental education includes, but is not limited to, all forms of learning assistance, such as tutoring, supplemental instruction, personal and academic career counseling and academic advising. These services, inclusive of an on-line developmental programme in Math & English and assistance with writing and math are provided to all students at The Student Support Center, located in room 101, on the campus’ East wing.
The Support Center is open from 8:30 am-7:00 pm from Monday- Friday. Students wanting assistance are advised to make an appointment. However, students are seen on a drop in basis. Lecturers’ available times would be posted at the center.
