Course Description

This Diploma Programme is aimed at those who seek entry level jobs in Public Relations, Community or Consumer Relations, Marketing Research, Fund Raising and Organisational Image Building. It provides the student with a more in-depth knowledge of the operations of Public Relations practitioners in the areas of effective writing, media operations and wider promotional opportunities.

Credits and Hours

This Diploma in Public Relations programme will consist of 18 credits over two semesters.

Semester I

PBR 200          The Role and Function of the

Public Relations Practitioner 3

PBR 220          Laws and Ethics of Media 3

PBR 250          Principles of Advertising 3

Semester II

PBR 245          Events Management 3

PBR 255          Crisis Management and the Media 3

MAR 115         Integrated Marketing Communications 3

Tuition Fees

Full payment of fees is required when registering for classes. Cipriani College is now a participant in GATE – Government’s Assistance for Tuition Expenses. The tuition fees listed below apply only to non-nationals. Citizens of Trinidad and Tobago are eligible for free tertiary education.
