Course Description

This programme is intended for those who have completed the Certificate in Human Resource Management or students who, in the opinion of the College, have training and/or experience equivalent to holders of the Certificate.

Credits and Hours

This Diploma in Human Resource Management programme will consist of 18 credits over two semesters

Semester I

HRM 300         Human Resource Management,

Functions & Procedures I 3

LOG 120          Critical Thinking 3

PSY 100          Introduction to Psychology 3

Semester II

HRM 121         Legal Issues of HRM in Operations 3

HRM 241         Collective Bargaining & Compensation 3

HRM 305         Organizational Behaviour I 3

Total Credits Required 18

Programme Purpose

The objectives of this Diploma are to:

  • Provide further training in the Human Resource Management subject areas
  • Develop an understanding of the concepts and application of human resources principles to other management activities
  • Develop an understanding of the theories, techniques and skills associated with organisational development and change

Tuition Fees

Full payment of fees is required when registering for classes. Cipriani College is now a participant in GATE – Government’s Assistance for Tuition Expenses. The tuition fees listed below apply only to non-nationals. Citizens of Trinidad and Tobago are eligible for free tertiary education. The Board of Governors reserves the right to change tuition and fee charges when necessary without notice. Fees and tuition are not transferable.
