This Associate of Science Project Management programme will consist of 62 credits. The Associate Degree programme in Security Administration and Management is designed to cover a period of two years full-time and three years of part-time study.

Programme Purpose

The goal of the Cipriani College’s Associate Degree in Security Administration and Management is to prepare students for a rewarding professional career. The graduate of this programme will:

  • be prepared to reduce an organization’s exposure to risk
  • be able to communicate with practitioners in the related professions
  • have the leadership and management knowledge necessary to operate security organizations and departments well into the twenty-first century
  • be able to manage the human resource of his/her organization
  • be able to understand and assess client needs
  • be able to function at the senior management level in an advisory capacity

Entry Requirements

In order to be admitted to the Programme applicants will be required to possess at least one of the following:

  • Five (5) or more CXC/GCE passes inclusive of Mathematics and English Language
  • Five (5) years of Project Management Experience
  • CCLCS Diploma in Project Management

Exemptions

Students who have completed the CCLCS Diploma in Project Management in 2008 and before can be exempted from the following course as follows:

  • PRM 120 Fundamentals of Project Management
  • PRM 125 Project Identification and Proposal Development
  • PRM 135 Proposal Development and Costing
  • PRM 210 Fundamentals of Project Monitoring and Control
  • PRM 250 Schedule Application Techniques
  • PRM 225 Quality Management
  • PRM 260 Research Project

Tuition Fees

Full payment of fees is required when registering for classes. Cipriani College is now a participant in GATE – Government’s Assistance for Tuition Expenses. The tuition fees listed below apply only to non-nationals. Citizens of Trinidad and Tobago are eligible for free tertiary education. The Board of Governors reserves the right to change tuition and fee charges when necessary without notice. Fees and tuition are not transferable.
