Harmonization and Articulation of Programmes to be offered by Regional, National / Community Colleges
From the onset of the Caribbean Single Market and Economy (CSME), the Association of Caribbean Tertiary Institutions Inc(ACTI), has recognised tghe need for the harmonization and articulation of programmes, especiallt the Associate degree, among the tertiary institutions of the region. Given one of the Major tenets of the CSME, the free movement of specified categories of workers, it is critical and imperative that the programmes offered by the regional National/Community Colleges be harmonised and articulated.
To this end, we must be able to say that an Associate degree means the same throughout the region, such that our citizens can move from country to country without any problems of recognistion or acceptance.
